What if we listened to researchers and artists more often? What if we let them guide our future? In what ways can science and art change the world?

The Cultural Foundation’s Science & Art events in spring 2026 will feature discussions with innovators from various fields. The events will also feature Elina Hirvonen‘s and Shakiba Adil’s newly released film, “The Secret Reading Club of Kabul” (2026). The film is subtitled in Finnish and English.

The first Science & Art evening of the spring will be held at Rekolan Kino in Vantaa on Monday, March 9, 2026, at 5 p.m. The discussion will be moderated by journalist and author Adile Sevimli, with documentary filmmaker and journalist Shakiba Adil, author Laura Gustafsson, curator and philosopher Päiviö Maurice Omwami, and research professor Antto Vihma participating.

The event will be held in Finnish and English (no interpretation provided). Admission is free and no advance registration is required. Welcome!
