The Finnish Cultural Foundation awards grants for international artists’ residency programmes each year. Three new residencies will be available in the 2024 call.

The following residencies are offered by the Finnish Cultural Foundation:
Open call for 2024:
- AIT, Tokyo, Japan, 3 months, visual arts/other fields
- Fabrikken, Copenhagen, Denmark, 3 months, visual arts/other fields
- Filba, Buenos Aires, Argentina, 3 months, literature
- Kanuti Gildi SAAL, Tallinn, Estonia, 2 to 3 weeks, all fields of performing arts, working groups (2 to 6 people) [NEW]
- NART, Narva, Estonia, 3 months, visual arts/other fields, individual artists or work pairs
- MORPHO, Antwerpen, Belgium, 5 months, visual arts/other fields [NEW]
- SÍM, Reykjavik, Iceland, 3 months, visual arts/other fields, individual artists or work pairs [NEW]
- Tokyo Arts and Space Residency, Japan, 3 months, visual arts/other fields, individual artists or work pairs
- Triangle, New York, United States, 3 months, visual arts/other fields
Exceptionally, the call will not be carried out for 2024 for the following:
- Artspace, Sydney, Australia, 3 months for visual artists (individual artists or work pairs) (call will not be carried out for 2024)

Grant Decisions
Residency grants can be applied for during the August round of applications. Applications should be submitted using the Finnish Cultural Foundation’s Online Application Service. Applications close at 4 pm Finnish time on the last day of the application period. The grant decisions are released by January 5th, at the latest.
